Refund & Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances change. This policy outlines when and how you can request a refund for company registration and ABN application services purchased through RSB Registrations.
1. Before Submission to ASIC or the ATO
If you have paid for a registration or ABN application but it has not yet been submitted to the relevant government authority:
- For company registrations, you may cancel your application and receive a full refund of the platform service fee, and the ASIC government fee will also be refunded if it has not yet been remitted
- For ABN applications, if the paid application has not yet been submitted to the ATO, you may request cancellation and a refund of the ABN service fee you paid for that application
- Any government or third-party fee already remitted on your behalf is not refundable unless that amount is first returned to us by the relevant provider

2. After Submission to ASIC or the ATO
Once your application has been submitted to ASIC or the ATO:
- For company registrations, ASIC government fees are non-refundable once remitted because they are collected by the government and cannot be reversed
- For company registrations, the platform service fee is non-refundable once the application has been submitted because the service has been rendered
- For ABN applications, the service fee for that submission is non-refundable once the application has been lodged to the ATO
- Any government or third-party fee already remitted on your behalf is non-refundable unless we recover that amount from the relevant provider
Important: Once we submit your application to ASIC or the ATO, the submission can move quickly and usually cannot be reversed. For ABN applications, payment alone does not complete lodgement; the non-refundable point is when the application is sent to the ATO.
3. Returned or Rejected Applications
If an application is returned with issues or rejected after payment:
- If ASIC rejects a company registration because details need to be corrected, we may help you fix the application and re-submit it in line with the service purchased and any additional government fee that applies
- If an ABN application is stopped because of a validation or Business API issue before it reaches the ATO, you can update the same application and resubmit it at no additional ABN service fee
- If the ATO rejects an ABN application after submission, the original submission is treated as complete, the fee for that submission is not refunded, and any further attempt requires a new ABN application and payment of the then-current ABN service fee
- If a returned issue or duplicate charge was caused by our platform or our processing error, we may offer a full or partial refund, or a no-cost replacement submission, as appropriate and subject to Australian Consumer Law
4. Duplicate Payments
If you are charged more than once for the same application due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate payment in full within 5–10 business days.
5. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law. If you believe you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law, contact us and we will assess the request in that context.
6. How Refunds Are Processed
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method (credit/debit card via Stripe)
- Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement
- We will send a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated
